Paula Susana Nieto De Guanuna August 8, 1948- January 20, 2018 Paula Susana Nieto De Guanuna passed away January 20, 2018 after a courageous long battle with Thyroid Cancer. She was surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren and died peacefully at home where we know she was welcomed by her parents on the other side. She was born August 8, 1948 to Alfredo Nieto and Carmen Adela Constante in Aloag, Ecuador. She built a life of her own at the age of 15 when she had to care for her siblings since her mother passed away at a young age. She worked as a teacher in Ecuador most of her life. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her savior and enjoyed singing and listening to Hymns. She loved to work in her garden and take care of her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Nelson O. Guanuna, and her three children and their spouses: Pablo A. Cruz (Erika), Jenny Cruz, David Guanuna (Staci) and 6 grandchildren: Mitchell Draper, Gabriel Draper, Ezekiel Draper, Hailee Cruz, Olivia Guanuna, Isaac Guanuna. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Ramiro Nieto (Adriana), Manuel Nieto (Soila), Patricio Nieto, Nelson Fabian Nieto (Nancy), Maria Nieto (Alfredo), Marcia Nieto de Yanez (Victor), also survived by many nieces and nephews and many more loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 25 from 6:00- 9:00 pm at Premier Funeral Services, 1160 North 1200 West Orem, Utah. Again on Friday, January 26 from 10:00-12:00 pm at the LDS Center Ward Bldg. 158 E 1100 S Orem, Utah. Funeral services will follow the viewing at 12:15 -1:15 pm with burial following in the Orem City Cemetery at 1520 N 800 E. We look forward to being with her again and will always remember her example of love.
