Penny Ann Knudsen

June 29, 1951 - March 7, 2022

Penny passed away peacefully on March 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Penny was born in Salt Lake City, UT on June 29, 1951. She was the youngest child to Kenneth and Mary Stone. She attended West High School where she met the love of her life John Knudsen. They were married on June 12, 1970. She was loved dearly by her husband who made sure she had everything she could ever want. They had two children Kristy and Richard who enjoyed all their family adventures together. Throughout her life she loved collecting anything Coke-a-Cola (her drink of choice). She would never even take a sip of Pepsi (yuck!). Penny’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. They adored their beloved ‘nana’ deeply. The legacy of her strong and honest spirit will live on through them. She is preceded by parents Kenneth and Mary Stone and sister Annette Bithell. She is survived by husband, John Knudsen, siblings Leilani Asay, Butch Stone (Karen), Rick Stone (Karen), children Kristy Burr (Ricky), Richard Knudsen (Ashley), grandchildren Christopher Vaughn (Beca), Jesse Dyer (Matt), Destiny Robles (David), Kelly Knudsen (Kota), Anthony Velasquez, Mia Knudsen, 6 great-grandchildren and many amazing family and friends. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends to honor Penny on April 2, 2022. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.” —Unknown
