Perry Dean Cardwell

November 20, 1974 - March 26, 2021

Perry Dean Cardwell, son of Sandra Lee Cardwell and Wallace Dean Cardwell, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 20th 1974. He passed away at the age of 46 on Friday, March 26th 2021 in Orem, Utah. He married Jackie Cardwell on September 22nd 2015. Perry had 3 children, Sara Sabrina Jacobson, Ashtin Dean Cardwell, and Ambience Jade Cardwell. He had 3 siblings, Tim Cardwell, Monica Cardwell and Roxanne Cardwell. Attended both Valley High School and Jordan High School. Perry loved playing guitar, enjoyed metal shows, collected band merchandise and even managed to meet the artists to get those signed. He was a tremendous supporter of the local music scene. He collected model cars and even had a passion for bowling. He played video games and more specifically enjoyed playing Legend of Zelda games. Ocarina of Time is a favorite amongst him and some of the family. In more recent times, he spent his time hiking and fishing. Perry was spontaneous and the life of the party. He loved making his family and friends smile. Perry was a survivor and advocate for Wegener's Granulomatosis (GPA) amongst other diseases/illnesses. He was determined to persevere or overcome any health complications that came his way. He always expressed his support to others that were dealing withsimilar struggles. He strived to be a friend and helped others through their hardships. We are proud of his strength and for helping progress medical studies. Bon Jovi's iconic song "It's My Life" was a significant inspiration to his life's purpose. These lyrics are a perfect reflection of how Perry pushed through the challenges he faced: "It's my life, it's now or never. I ain't gonna live forever. I just want to live while I'm alive." His life's motto from his Personal Facebook Bio, "Live life don't just survive it. Without you the world is empty and makes my life alone." He was a great exampleto us and how we live our lives today. As a family we would like to give a special thank you to those who donated to Perry's memorial services. We send our love to you and to those attended. We appreciate the support and kindness we've received for our wonderful Perry.
