Randy Baxter Cantrell

Randy Baxter Cantrell passed away peacefully on December 1, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pasadena, CA on August 23, 1955. Randy was a son of Donald Leroy Cantrell and Judith Lynn Leyshon. He grew up in Crocker, Missouri and loved the great outdoors. Randy played in the woods and swam in Cantrell Creek. He had a friendly & full personality with a quick wit. Randy never met a stranger, therefore everyone was a friend. Randy loved the camp trips at the deer hunt with family members. In later years he became an avid fisherman. He really liked the catch and release program for he didn’t have to clean them! In this past year Randy had investigated the LDS church. He was taught the gospel by missionaries and he was looking forward to being baptized. Randy is preceded in death by his father, grandparents and his half-brother John Joseph (Johnny Joe) Hamilton. He is survived by his mother, Judith (Joseph G)Hamilton; brothers Bryan Cantrell, Scott (Christena) Cantrell; half-sisters Joleen Jepperson, Alice (Don) Ballantyne, Gwen (Jim) Manguso, Carol (Tom) Haycock; half-brothers Joe (Nickie) Hamilton, Bob (Mary) Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 6th at 1:00 PM at 546 North 500 West, Orem, UT. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
