Raymond Joseph Mitros

Born August 12, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Raymond William Mitros and Victoria Elizabeth Prawdzik. Died in Murray, Utah on December 9, 2020 from pneumonia. Ray served his country in the US Army from 1952 to 1955 as an X-Ray technician. The majority of Ray’s career was working for the Airlines as a Customer Service Agent. He started off with Braniff International Airlines, working for them for 25-years before they declared bankruptcy in 1982. That same year he was hired by Western Airlines, which merged with Delta Airlines in 1987, where he retired from in 1997. Ray is survived by his sons: Timothy Mitros (Dianne) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael Mitros of Draper, Utah, Daniel Mitros (Beth) of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter: Becky White (Mark) of Omaha, Nebraska; brother: Jack Mitros of Trappe, Pennsylvania; sister: Victoria Williams (Ray) of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ray was preceded in death by his sister: Terry Nadarzynski; daughter: Deborah Cumming. Ray will be buried at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah.
