Richard Ryan Stout
October 11, 1974 - January 9, 2018
Richard Ryan Stout “It’s a fun life, isn’t it!? This was how our beloved Richard viewed life and was one of his quick responses during any given time, accompanied with a wink. Richard Ryan Stout passed away on January 9th, 2018 due to pneumonia and staph infection to his lungs and was surrounded by members of his family until he left this earthly life. He was born in Fairfax, Virginia on Oct 11, 1974 to Vaughn Stout and Louise Poppleton Stout. He was the youngest of 10 children and also a twin to his brother Robert Stout. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Rich spent most of his upbringing in Wellsville, Utah. He attended Mountain Crest High School and worked in various jobs in Cache County, Utah. Rich loved to go camping, fishing and enjoyed reading. In his younger years he was an avid skateboarder and also enjoyed watching the JAZZ play. He loved to discuss politics and world events and was well informed in either subject. Rich made it a priority to be with his friends, whom he considered family and would walk miles and miles just to spend time with them. He was a great example in this area. The Stout family would like to thank the medical staff at St Marks Hospital for the diligent and tender care during his last few days and also the First Responders who took him to the hospital on those few occasions before his passing. We also would like to thank all those who have reached out and expressed their love and concern during this difficult time. We know and believe Rich is at peace, free of pain and suffering and surrounded and cared for by loved ones who welcomed him home with open arms and loving hearts. Rich is survived by his father, Vaughn Clark Stout, his mother Louise Poppleton Stout, and his siblings Terrell Kukla (Russell), Holly Stout, Bill (DeAnn), John, (Lynda), Jim (Shauna), Trisha Willmore (Regan), Adrianne Brackner (David) and Robert. Proceeding him in death was his sister Leigh Stout Woodward. A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 20th. God speed, until we meet again. We love you Rich.
