Robert (Bob) Henry Homer Jr 1964-2022 Robert (Bob) Henry Homer Jr has passed from his physical life on Monday, May 9th 2022 from organ failure. Bob was born December 28th 1964 to Ava Esswein and Robert Homer Sr in Cleveland, Ohio. Bob grew up in Columbus, Ohio with his four sisters and brother. After graduating high school he lived a full life of travel, whether it be on his Harley or in a semi. Bob loved to hit the road with no destination in sight. Traveling anywhere from the west coast to the east coast, or from Montana to Mexico, Bob could talk to anyone and have a new friend in minutes. He moved to Layton, Utah in his early twenties where he started his own trucking company that he ran successfully for over 25 years. When Bob was 32 he had his first and only child Dillon, but was a father figure to many. Some of Bob’s favorite activities included camping, fishing, motocross and anything to do with the outdoors or if it had a motor in it. He was also a talented guitar player that loved to play around the campfire. Singing and strumming sweet melodies that would send chills through your soul. And if it wasn’t the music it was his jokes and laughter that could bring everyone together through his beautiful stories. Bob was a selfless man that only wanted the best for others. He raised and provided nothing but the best for his son, family and friends. Bob was full of wisdom and experience and one thing he always said was “You know you’ve lived a good life when you can look back and count your real friends on 5 fingers, someone you can trust with your life, wife and money.” We will be doing a celebration of life with food and drinks on Friday, May 13th from 6-8 PM at Power Promotions in Roy. 5385 S 1950 W St Roy, UT 84067 United States
