Beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Ronald H. Jensen passed away peacefully at home in Taylorsville, Utah on April 21, 2015 after a long illness. He was born November 26, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho, and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1959. He married Benita Cooper; their children are Craig, Kristy, and Kelly. Ron’s second marriage was to Colleen Gibbs; their children are Cory, Camille, and Shelly. In 2004, Ron married Judith Whalen; their children are Steve, Stephanie, Kenneth, Lori, and Kimberly. Ron had a beautiful smile and a big heart in serving others. He trained with National Cash Register, and became an expert at repairing cash registers, bill counters, and printers. Ron was preceded in death by his parents J. Ferril & Doris Jensen, children Shelly and Kimberly, daughter Camille and her son Skyler, sister Dorinne and her husband Clint Bowler, brother Beryl Jensen, and sister Rozalys DeNaughel. Ron is survived by his wife, Judith, twin brother Donald (Teddie Sue), son Craig (Colleen), daughter Kristy (John), daughter Kelly (Brent) and son Cory, four stepchildren Steve, Stephanie (Shawn), Kenneth, and Lori (Derrick), sister-in-law Jeannie Jensen, brother-in-law Kyle DeNaughel, as well as 28 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, including one special needs granddaughter, Susie, that he so lovingly helped care for. We love and miss you. Keep smiling until we meet again. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, starting at 1:00 p.m., at the LDS Church Bennion 4th Ward, 6250 South 2200 West, Taylorsville, Utah. A gathering for friends and family, memorial service, and luncheon at the Bennion 4th Ward will followed by urn interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Utah Chapter, www.alz.org.
