Ronald LeRoy Snyder July 29, 1932- April 27, 2019 Ronald LeRoy Snyder passed away on April 27, 2019 surrounded by family at home in Springville. Ron was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 29, 1932 to Louis LeRoy Snyder and Ardell Eva Lamping Snyder. He spent his childhood in Salt Lake, San Gabriel and El Monte Ca, graduating from Rosemead High. After graduating from high school Ron was drafted into the Army, serving as an MP during the Korean War. Ron later moved to Provo, Utah to be closer to his brother Mickey. He retired from the United States Post Office in Provo in 1989. Ron bowled in the league at Regal Lanes and held the 300 record for many years. He loved to play golf and spent many hours at the golf course, whether in practice or playing rounds with many of his family members. Ron loved to take family members out on his boat, teaching his many nieces and nephews how to water ski. He enjoyed snow skiing, motorcycle riding, camping, fishing, gardening, raising birds, watching many family members play ball, but most of all, he loved spending time with his extended family. Ron is survived by his brother Mickey (Jo Ann) Snyder, sister Penny (Bob) Young and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carole. Uncle Ronnie, we will miss seeing your smiling face, but will forever cherish the memories of our time together. A private celebration of his life will be scheduled for the family at a later date.
