Ryan Richard Bernier, 35, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2016, leaving behind two children, and many friends and family members who love him. He was born October 8, 1980 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Richard and Carolyn Bernier. The second of six children, he grew up in Utah County living in Provo and Springville. He loved playing baseball, hockey, and golf with his dad and brothers, and excelled in wrestling. He always enjoyed a good competition of any kind, and found great joy in teasing his friends, siblings, and children. He was proud of his service in the U.S. Navy. He worked hard at everything he did. He was always a good employee, often advancing to manager and various leadership roles. He loved camping, hiking, and being outdoors with his dog, Deja. Ryan has a big, gentle heart and has touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his two children Shelby and Corbin, his parents, Richard "Rick" Bernier and Carolyn Wheeler Bernier, his siblings Michelle Iverson (Tyler), Amber Bernier, Robert Bernier (Elizabeth), Adam Bernier (Jenny), and Michael Bernier, and his nieces and nephews, Aliyah, Emilee, Adeline, Crue, and Oliver. Funeral Services will be at 12 noon on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Kolob 1st Ward, 1230 South 400 East Springville, UT. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with the burial following the services at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
