Sequoia Bishop

July 28, 2019 - November 29, 2021

Sequoia Bishop, 2 years old, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, with her mother and father by her side. Sequoia was born at home in Lehi, UT on July 28, 2019, surrounded by her father and siblings. Sequoia was an avid lover of all things from Disney's Moana -- the movie, the songs, and the merchandise. She required a special bedtime routine, which her mother now cherishes. Sequoia really loved her rainbow pastel crocheted blanket, which she carried everywhere, and her stuffed animal "Chiney". She loved pretending to make food, but in actuality she was an extremely picky eater. Each night, Sequoia's parents placed bowls of many different foods at her dinner table place in the hopes that she might eat at least a little bit of each. Sequoia followed her mother around like a little puppy and was often found in her mother's arms. She loved to play with her dad and siblings and was almost never alone. When her dad would hold her she tenderly reached up and touched his beard although she couldn't stand his scratchy kisses. She was the comforter of her family. Sequoia couldn't stand to see anyone sad. She would always wrap her arms around anyone who was hurting and is spiritually wrapping her arms around her family now. Sequoia is survived by her parents Brian "Eddie" & Brindie Allan Bishop, as well as her siblings Kaylor, Dallas, Jarrett, Madeleine, Janessa, Ezekiel, and Remington. She was also survived by her aunts and uncles, and her grandparents Randy & Heidi Allan, and Joel & Carolyn Bishop, and great-grandmothers Norma Allan and Joan Merrill. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Earl Allan, Gaylen & Allaire Johnson, Ralph & Reva Bishop, and Don Merrill. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse at 1680 W 700 S, Lehi, UT, 84043, at 11am on Saturday Dec 4, 2021. The service will be live streamed at: https://youtube.com/channel/UCykcaTofAGSDRM0IqgLqeAQ
