August 23, 1957 - October 4, 2021

Theodore Julio Viegas, Jr. peacefully walked through the light on Monday, October 4, 2021, to meet his maker, his Father, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ welcoming him home. He is finally at peace and pain free. Praise the Lord! Ted was born in 1957 in Sacramento, California to Theodore Viegas, Sr. and Billie Marie Ross, the youngest of 7 children on his mother’s side and the 2nd eldest of 9 children on his father’s side. He was raised by his dad and his beloved mother, Lupe. As a child, Teddy loved to play baseball and go fishing with his dad. He was an alter boy in the Catholic Church. He served in the U.S Army and did a tour in the Vietnam War. He graduated from Moody Bible College with an Associates Degree in Theology. He was a certified dry cleaner, and worked in a family dry cleaning business in Pasadena, California. He was a Jack of all trades and a smooth talker. He loved his family. He suffered from childhood diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and lupus and became disabled in his later years because of these diseases. He was in constant pain. He loved spending time with grandchildren. He was a very generous man and good with kids and dogs. He enjoyed going to church, and watching NCIS and Chicago PD on TV. Survived by Dawn Wilson, his partner, love, and caregiver, who will miss him dearly; his 3 furry children Shadow, Nugget, and Sadie; his dear friends Melissa Parker and Brett Semper who helped care for him in his last days, his children Michael, Theresa, Jenny, John, Ericka, Karen, Juan, Daniel, and Anthony; his siblings Theresa, Gabriel, Matthew, Clark, Frank, Adrienna, Julie, Marcy, Rosie, and Benny; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Preceded in death by his father Ted Viegas Sr., beloved mother Lupe, mother Billie, and brothers Ricky, Bobby, and Billy. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life reception (5:30-7pm) and memorial service (7-8pm) on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 6545 Combe Rd, Ogden, UT 84403.
