Tristan Lee Campbell

March 13, 2001 - September 7, 2019

Tristan Lee Campbell “Boo”, was born on March 13th, 2001 at Jordan Valley Hospital to parents Brian and Crystal. He is preceded in death by his mother Crystal Joy Cook (2009) and his father Brian Daniel Campbell (2009). Since the passing of his parents, he was raised by a village of family: aunts Tracey and Kiera, uncles Jon and Justin, cousins Austin, Chelsea, Kody, Tangi, Andrew, Karissa, and Easton. All of whom Tristan looked to for guidance. He is survived by his two sisters, Shyanne Leslie Cook and Cassidy Victoria Jade Cook, brother Schylar, niece Brexleigh, grandfather Frank, and many other loving and supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tristan enjoyed basketball, music, video games, writing, and like most know, the color red. He was a loyal and selfless friend who always found ways to help those who needed it. His free spirit and desire to live on the edge often got him into trouble, but paved a path of stories we will all share with each other for years to come. He brought out the little kid in everyone with his goofy personality and his search for adventure, many with his closest friend and beloved cousins, Trenton and Andrew. Tristan was haunted by demons bigger than himself, however, his intentions were always pushing him to be better. He had a laugh that could light up a room and a smile that instantly made you feel warm. Tristan gave the best hugs with constant reassurance of how much he loved you. There is peace in knowing Tristan is with his parents, especially his father, whose shoes he never stopped trying to fill. Tristan took pride in his wild and crazy ways, so rather than mourn the loss of his life, he would want his family and friends to celebrate in his honor. He will be missed and forever remembered as the little boy whose creative soul was too beautiful for this world. Services will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2019. A small viewing will be help from 10:00am-11:00am at 7043 Commerce Park Drive in Midvale, Utah. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N St E in Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please bring any pictures you have with or of Tristan for all to remember.
