Wendy Jayne Johnson, beloved wife to Christopher Michael Johnson and loving mother of Tason and Katherine, passed away in the arms of her husband while surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her mother Laurie Mae Higgs, father Allen Higgs, 7 brothers Doug, Brent, David, Layne, James, Ski, and Michael, and 3 sisters Sandi, Karla, and Deanne; as well as a large and loving extended family of nieces and nephews. Wendy was born in Salt Lake City on May 9, 1978 and left to her Heavenly Fathers embrace on July 19, 2020 at 9pm. She was a faithful, dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a full-time mission in the Carlsbad California Mission. She had a strong desire to serve others and would give of her time, love and energy selflessly. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Elementary Math. Wendy met the love of her life (She was, and will always be his queen!) and was sealed to him for all time and eternity in the Bountiful Temple on February 4, 2012. She is loved and adored by many. She had the special ability to see into the heart of a person. Always the practical jokester, she could lighten the spirit of anyone. Wendy loved traveling and enjoying new adventures. She was a dedicated teacher, as such she touched the lives of many young people who were fortunate to come into her classroom. Wendy will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have had the privilege of knowing her. This beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father fought a brave and difficult battle against cancer. She inspired many with her courage and determination. Final arrangements are a public viewing at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 West, Roy, Utah, from 6-8:00 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2020. A graveside services will take place on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Clinton City Cemetery, 813 North 750 West, Clinton, Utah.
