William Franklin Green

William Franklin Green passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on April 3, 2015 in Provo, Utah. Loved and respected by many, he will be greatly missed. Born in Thomas County, Georgia, he travelled the world as an equipment operator in the U.S. Navy Seabees. In 1977 he retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He moved back to Thomas County where he launched a successful second career in property sales and rentals. In 2011, he retired with his wife, Carolyn Green, to Provo, Utah to live close to their children and grandchildren. William is survived by his daughter, Tammy Green, his son, Mike Singletary, and his sister, Dorothy Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, and his sister, Minnie Singletary. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 So. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale, UT with a viewing at 10:00 am prior to the service.
