William Henry Warnes III

August 12, 1930 - April 26, 2013

Bill passed away at home April 26, 2013, after a long illness. He was born August 12, 1930, in the Chicago, Illinois area, and was raised in Winchester, Indiana, where he learned to farm and raise mink. Raising orchids was Bill’s passion and what started him in the nursery business. He traveled to Central and South America to collect orchids and has won many awards for his orchids. Bill loved being outdoors, even when his illness made it impossible to work. He loved serving others and fulfilling his callings in the LDS Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents William Henry Warnes II and Tessie Berry; brother Ray Warnes; brother-in-law Frank Addington; and son Douglas Warnes.
