DAD, I MISS YOU SO MUCH.
DAD, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN 5 MONTHS WITHOUT YOU. IT STILL FEELS LIKE YESTERDAY. THE HURT IS STILL SO FRESH. I MISS YOU SO MUCH. WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH YOU AND JUST GIVE YOU THE BIGGEST LONGEST HUG. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. I AM GRATEFUL YOU ARE NO LONGER IN PAIN AND THAT YOU ARE FREE OF YOUR AILMENTS, I JUST STILL WISH YOU WERE HERE. I HAVE VOICEMAILS FROM YOU THAT I LISTEN TO FREQUENTLY JUST TO HEAR YOUR VOICE. THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS HAVING MY BACK AND LISTENING TO ME WITHOUT JUDGEMENT, I WAS ALWAYS ABLE TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT LITERALLY ANYTHING AND YOU ALWAYS HAD SUCH WISE WORDS OF ADVISE. YOU ARE LOVED AND MISSED MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW.
XOXOXO, YOUR DAUGHTER, SELA
Derek, you were my 1st husband, very young when we got together then married. Our beautiful daughter is a great mix of us both. I learned a lot from you. The last 10 yrs you became a big part of all my kids life. I will always remember all our good times. Fly high Derek and please keep an eye on us all. Give Mom a big hug and kiss for me
I met Derek aka Toker about 36 years ago or longer at El Centro Del Pueblo he used to hang out with me and Rudy aka Joker Bird in Echo Park, we were really good friends, we use to party together, He had left to the Army and we lost touch and just a few years ago he found my son on FB and found me through him and we have been talking about the good old day's since. He had invited myself and my family to visit him in Utah. The last time we talked he told me he was sick and I prayed with him and prayed for him all the time. The last time I reached out to him was on August 8th on messenger and I didn't hear back from him then I seen the message on FB that he passed on the 18th, I will miss talking to Derek... Until we meet again Toker tell Rudy I said hi 😎 God bless you...
