I was saddened to hear of Launa's passing. I am one of her neighbors here in Old Farm and have known her for many years. She served on the Wayland Station board with my brother-in-law Marty Madill, and served our community with integrity and passion to make it a happy place to live. I will miss seeing her walking with her good friend Becky, and knowing she was residing among us. She will be missed, and I pray God will be with her, and with her family at this difficult time.

It was terrible to hear about Launa's passing, she was my step mom and was married to my dad Joe for many years of my life. I will always remember her for being classy, smart, kind, successful and just a beautiful person. Sadly we had just learned of her illness and passing yesterday, but both my Dad and I really want to express our deepest sympathy, our hearts and prayers are with the family in their time of sorrow.

I was privileged too be in the same real estate office with Nona many years ago in St. George. She was always admired and looked up to for both her expertise and the way she carried herself and everything she did. I had the opportunity to attend a real estate convention with her in San Diego Where we roomed together and it was so great to get to know her better. What a beautiful tribute to your mom, sister, grandma, friend and neighbor.

Launa and I started conversing more frequently after her diagnosis late last year. In July I called to ask her some questions about her front door because I thought she had had it painted. It turns out that she hadn't had her door painted and when she found out I was getting my door painted she wanted hers painted also! Who does that when they are in the midst of a dire diagnosis and pain? Well, Launa.

She went about living her life with dignity, grace and self-respect. She was not about to allow her illness to defeat or diminish her joy.

I have deep respect for Launa's lack of self-pity and I genuinely appreciate that I could spend some time with her before she passed.

She taught me a lot about how to stand tall regardless of the circumstances.

Rest in peace, Launa.

Launa and I are close neighbors living at Wayland Station at Old Farm. I enjoyed watching Launa when she was in leadership positions at Wayland. She was knowledgable about how to live in a condo community and bring us residents together to enjoy our lives here. We miss her but, in my mind, I see her in Paradise with her tap dancing shoes on happily dancing as she visits with her family and making more friends!!

We love Launa and have enjoyed her company for the past 20 years at our house and Steve's. She brightened the room when she was in it, we enjoyed her company at family Christmas breakfasts and parties, she was a great conversationalist and was always dressed to the nines. She always gave us an update on the boys, their jobs and accomplishments and of course Aleia and her travels. Rest in peace, Love Seager Family
