I met Donnie while he was on his mission in Utah back in 2001. He spent many days during the next 2 years at our home. Donnie sat with my 4 year old son and they "played" guitar together. 💙 Donnie always had his with him. This picture was probably in 2002. Donnie had posted it saying "we were a family he'd cherish forever" 💙😢 my little boy Kristian in the picture is 28 now.
Aw dangit. Donnie was amazing. I met him on the Jungle Cruise in Disneyland over 15 years ago. He made me laugh and I always asked for his boat when I was there. He remembered me one day and we eventually became long distance texting friends. The world is a bit more dim without his light and laughter. Rest my dear friend, my beloved Skipper Donnie.
Donnie left a lasting impact on mine and my children's lives.
I used to give him rides to the Provo shows early on. When they had all ages shows, my kids would come. We all loved Donnie so much! Many of our fond memories together involve those shows and his music. We will love you forever, Donnie. Thank you for being part of our lives. ❤️
Donnie and I hadn't talked in quite a while. I'm so glad his pain is over and I'm even more glad he had so many loved ones to hug when he got to the other side. Love to all of the Bonellis. (Stephan Moss sent me this pic a few months ago. So many good times with this group of punks.)
Though I never formally met Donnie, I have known Tina for many years. She spoke of him with such love and affection, that I felt like I had known him forever. May his whole family feel the grace of God surround you as you go through the grieving proceed. We send all of love and prayers to all of you.
