I met Jenice when I was working for a glass company out of Ogden. She was always willing to listen to and share stories with me. She was well respected by her co-workers and peers and treated each customer like they were the only ones in the office. She always made time to talk with me, regardless of how busy she might have been. We talked about getting together with our significant others and riding to some (to be determined) destination.
I lost touch with Jenice when I made a job change, and I missed my friend. Then I saw a social media post that she and Tye had some adorable puppies that were ready to be homed. My wife and I went to see them just before Christmas and Tye told me of the challenges they were enduring. I was stunned to learn that her battle had begun just after the last time we had spoken. My heart hurt for them and I wished them the best with hopes of finally getting together for some riding in the spring.
I was brought to my knees when I learned of her passing and I wept knowing that the world had lost such a beautiful soul.
Jenice will be missed deeply by all who knew her. I am grateful to have known her and that I have one of the puppies to keep her memory fresh in my heart and mind. Every time I see my Daisy, I will think of Jenice and Tye. We will get some rides in this year and I know Jenice will be with us in spirit.
Jenice, you may not be here in person, but as long as you live in our memories, you are with us.
