Mrs. Farrow was my first-grade teacher at A.H. Bush Elementary school. I always remember her being friendly and kind, even when Tommy Smith said the words “ass”, and she used it as a teaching moment to explain an additional term for a donkey. 🤣🫏
When my older sister passed seat after a car accident, she was at one of the funeral services and when coming through the line, she told me “I’ll bet your dinner remember who I am.” I explained, “Of course I remember you! You’re my first-grade teacher!” It meant a lot that she knew my family and came to post tribute. I’m saddened I wasn’t able to return the kind gesture. I’m sure it was a lovely service.
