Alan Jay Winter's Obituary
We lost a Grandpa, Uncle and Father: Alan Jay Winter passed away Friday January 7, 2022 at Davis County Hospital at the age of 74, one month prior to his birthday. He was born on February 13, 1947 in Salt Lake City to Stephen Henry Winter and Louise Crofts.
He was survived by his brother Stephen Winter, children Jeremy Winter, Christopher Winter, Jennifer Winter and Jessica Winter Hawe, grandchildren Jessi, Jonathan, Hayli, Kaiser, Carter, Charlotte, Wrenna and his tiny dog Danny who is happily living with the grandchildren.
Alan grew up in Orderville, Utah and spent his adult life in the Salt Lake City area. He adored his grandchildren, watching good movies, having good conversations, telling bad Dad jokes, and was a big foodie and loved to cook, especially on the charcoal barbeque. He was a good story teller: stories of the past or ones imagined for bed time.
