Aleith Anderson Bagley's Obituary
Aleith Anderson Bagley passed away on October 1st , 2012 at her home in Orem, surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 1, 1923 in Annabella, Utah to Lecoy and Vaunda Nordfors Anderson. She married Lowell E. Bagley on February 9th, 1946 in Richfield, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Aleith and Lowell lived in Annabella, Utah most of their lives and have made Orem their home for the past 20 years. Together they had 6 children; John (Phyllis) Bagley, Koosharem; Anne (Michael) Morrey, Orem; Renee (Karl) Thomas, Provo; Mignon (Kent) Nicol, Orem; Marian Castleberry, Orem; and Lisa Elaine Bagley, Orem. She also has 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Aleith is also survived by her sisters; Yvonne (George) Leigh, Tucson, AZ; Karen (Don) Cornelius, Reston, VA; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister; Joyce (John) Hood; and brother, Shirl Anderson. Aleith loved to learn and was an excellent student. She was a creative and meticulous homemaker, seamstress and cook. She had great faith in her Heavenly Father and was an example of hard work, dependability and desired to do her very best in any endeavor. Her family is honored to call this elegant lady “Mother” and “Grandmother.” We look forward to being with her again. There will be a visitation Sunday evening, October 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Suncrest 5th Ward building, 130 North 400 West in Orem. Funeral services will be held in the Suncrest 5th Ward Chapel on Monday, October 8th at 12:00 noon with a visitation prior to the service from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Orem City cemetery, 1520 North 800 East. The family considers Aleith’s care-givers as “extended family” and expresses heartfelt appreciation for the loving care provided by Karen, Angela, Sharelle and Jeanne, and for the professional and tender care from Encompass Hospice.
