Alison May Larsen's Obituary
Alison May Baxter Larsen was born long long ago in a beautiful country Down Under in Brisbane, Australia and passed away peacefully on June 13, 2015 in Salt Lake City.
She lived and worked in New Zealand, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne 1957-1961, served a LDS Mission in South Africa 1961-1963, lived and worked in Laie Hawaii 1963-1964. After attending and graduating from BYU 1964-1968 in Early Childhood Education and Family Relations Alison taught 3rd grade at Howard R. Driggs Elementary 1968-1972. She married her sweetheart Brent Larsen in the Salt Lake Temple in 1970 and a year later they moved into their 1st home in Eastwood Hills where they lived until 2013 (42 years). Alison’s passions were tennis, gardening, reading, traveling and leaves behind a legacy of love.
She is survived by her husband Brent, son Loren (Jo Anna), 6 grandchildren, brother Donald, and numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Grandeur Peak Ward, 3640 E. Millstream Road (3510 South), SLC, UT. Visitation at the church Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday one hour prior to services.
