My friendship with Allen began in Junior High. My best memory is we would take the bus into Salt Lake to clothes and shoe shop.Sounds kinda gay but we all know Allen,
it wasn't.

Rise and Shout! I always enjoyed talking BYU Football with Uncle Allen. He's a great guy and will be missed.
DeAnn and I were Invited to a 4th of July party one summer. It was at Allen's country club. They were having a longest drive competition Allen talked me into entering it. But I did not have my golf clubs with me and I am left handed. Just before I was ready to drop out of the competition Allen went to one of his left handed Doctor friends and asked if I could barrow his 3 wood. I'll never forget the proud look on his face when we crushed the competition. I returned the club back to his friend and his friend said to us. You know you really made me look bad Mike because all this time I've been blaming my bad play on my golf clubs.. Thank You Allen.
Hey Al, we had some great trips together. One summer at the Gorge (Flaming) on Nornies Boat. And a week on the Colorado River. Will not bring up the early day's, 1960's. Will miss you Buddy!
I met Allen 66 years ago at Stoker School. I can truly say he has always been his own man, a characteristic we could all learn from and improve our lives by following his example. In the words of the song "Allen did it his way". Thanks to Allen and my love to his loved ones.
