My family and I were blessed to have Pops enrich our lives since 2017. Sharon and Bruce resided across the street from us and Pops beautiful smile and energetic wave became a familiar sight. Pops always had a kind word to share, always brightening everyone’s day. I will miss Pops always but I will carry his message and example of loving and caring for others. Pops, we’ll miss you, thank for enriching our lives. God bless you Pops, the neighborhood will keep an eye on Smitty and Buddy. Hugs to you Sharon, and your family, at this difficult time 💗🙏🏽

I was really sorry to hear of the passing of Al. He was a great person to work with and I am sure he is going to be missed by many. Condolences to his family.
My dearest Sharon, I’m sending you my most sincere condolences on behalf of myself and Mo. We will miss Pops and his wonderful smile. We were blessed to have him and we are comforted by the fact that he is in heaven with our Lord. He is in a better place now, looking down on us and smiling. He will live in our memories for ever. I’m attaching a beautiful picture of Pops and Marty. Both wonderful men in their own right, both from the greatest generation, and both with sweet smiles having left us with wonderful memories.

Al was always a friend and a great listener as well as story teller. He was a terrific Captain and made all new recruits at home. He is missed by many, but enjoy the reunion of many friends and family and new acquaintances. A prayer for his family. John and Sharon Shay
Oh how I will miss my dear friend pops. I want to be like pops when I grow up. So much love, optimism and smiles to readily share.
I’ll miss “ hey curly - who let you out of the zoo”
Baseball games
His sweet smile
Fun laugh
And his testimony that he not only shared with words but shared by the way he lived his life.
And what an example of a father / daughter relationship .
Thank you amazing Sharon for the tender loving care you showed and example you have been as an amazing daughter to her daddy.
