Aunt Amadita, thank you for being such a beautiful example of communication in our family. I will always remember your words of encouragement, which somehow arrived exactly when they were needed, your sweet voice, and the lovely messages you wrote on every Christmas card with your impeccable handwriting. You were always a true example of strength, a pillar of our family, present in our lives despite the distance.
Amy (Aunt Amadita), you left a mark on our hearts, an example of family unity, order, and discipline. I remember a painting of flowers you left us that stayed in our house for a long time, and when you came to visit, you'd ask why we had it. It was a way of acknowledging your presence in our lives. I remember your voice, the times we talked on the phone, and also the cassettes you recorded and sent to Papa Castelan to tell him how life was going.
Amy was a angel. My mom Barbara davis and amy were great friends.
