Andrea Elisa Mendez Gonzalez's Obituary
Andrea Elisa Mendez Gonzalez was born October 13th 1969 and lost her battle to kidney failure due to her diabetes on November 4th 2021. She was born to Rodolfo Gonzalez and Elisa Martinez in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. She became a Naturalized Citizen of the United States on September 27, 2018, which had been a lifelong dream of hers. She was a devoted Pentecostal Christian who tried to live her life Christlike, she would help anyone in need even if she had to go without. She considered her fellow church goers as family and would constantly talk about them. She was always ready to give advise to anyone in need without judgement. She always saw the best in people. She never saw the negative in anyone just the positive. Her children and grandchild were her world, she always mentioned how proud she was of all her children to anyone that would listen. She loved having long conversations about life with them sometimes well into the night. She loved spending time with her family and savoring every moment of it. They used to tease her about being the selfie queen because she loved taking pictures everywhere and anywhere she went. She loved calling her brothers and fighting with them over the phone she was the only girl out of 6 brothers so she had to keep them in line as she would say. Her favorite words were “Oh My Goch” which she used for everything. She had a habit of hiding snacks everywhere or as she would call them her “goodies”, which she loved to share with her grandson Kevin. Her favorite things to do was go shopping with her girlfriends and buying presents for other people. She loved to eat chilles rellenos even though they gave her heartburn. Anyone who knew her knows how contagious her laugh was just by laughing she would make you laugh. She was very joyful and always had a smile on her face even on her bad days. People were always amazed at her strength and sense of humor despite her condition. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by everyone. In her memory we would like you all to live like she did, alway looking at the positive side of life, help your fellow neighbors in need and enjoy life to the fullest.
