Andrew John Roetker's Obituary
Andrew John Roetker 1940 - 2018, Andrew John Roetker 78, passed away peacefully on Friday November 23, 2018 of natural causes. Andrew was born on October 24, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Effie Wyskup and Paul Charles Roetker and he was the 4th of six children.
Andrew was a beloved father of four children and 8 grandchildren. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He raised his family in Southern California, living in Los Angeles, Westminster and San Luis Obispo on the Central Coast of California. He worked for UPS for over 20 years
Andrew was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings, with a special love for missionary work and scouting. He loved the outdoors and activities with each of his children, introducing them to camping and fishing. He loved activities that involved his family and enjoyed spending his time with them.
Andrew is survived by his children: John Andrew Roetker and his wife Lisa, Paul Charles Roetker and his wife Sherrene, Mark Stephen Roetker and his wife Belinda, and Robin Rene Effie (Roetker) Toohey and her husband Sean Toohey . He is also survived by his sister Louise (Roetker) Greer and her husband Sam Greer, his brother Tommy Lee Roetker and his wife Donna, and his sister Mary Theresa Hammon.
8 grandchildren. Chandler Roetker, Morgan Roetker, Miranda Roetker, Dallin Roetker, Taylor Toohey, Seth Toohey, Zachary Roetker and Sarah Roetker.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, located at 1801 W. 700 S., Lehi, UT 84043. The graveside service will follow at Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, located at 17111 So. Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah. Viewings will be held for the family an hour before the funeral service, Friday, November 30 from 9:30-10:20 a.m.
