Angela Dawn Gledhill White's Obituary
Angela Dawn Gledhill White passed away at home July 20, 2026. Born on September 17, 1956, in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, to Donald Arthur Gledhill and Loretta Cloward. On September 25, 1985, Angie married Steven L. White in the St. George Utah Temple. Together, they raised their two beloved children, Zachary White and Kelly White. Angela's family was the center of her life, and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved.
Angie had a remarkably generous heart and was always ready to help anyone in need. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for Intermountain Health Care for 25 years. Drawing on her nursing experience and compassionate nature, she fostered at least 20 children who required specialized care. Her home and heart were always open, and she made a lasting difference in the lives of many children and families.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Angie faithfully served in numerous callings. She served as compassionate service director and worked in the Primary and Young Women organizations. Her service reflected her deep faith, kindness, and love for others.
Angie was always ready for an adventure. She especially enjoyed family vacations at Bear Lake and in St. George, as well as camping and spending time outdoors. Her many interests included emergency preparedness, cooking, genealogy, planning parties, and using her creativity to make something wonderful from almost nothing.
Angie will be remembered for her great big heart, her resourcefulness, her spirit of adventure, and her unwavering devotion to her family and faith. Her life was defined by compassion and service, and her loving influence will continue through the many lives she touched.
Preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and her husband, Steve. Survived by her son Zachary White and daughter Kelly White. Survived by her siblings: Tammy (Jeff) Gustin, Melanie (Carey) Wilde, Tracy (Jim) Ludlow, Matt (Tracie) Gledhill, Celeste Gledhill, Marilyn White, Joyce (Roy) Box, Carolyn (Steve) Schultz, David (Annamarie) White, and Janice Knudsen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank Enhabit Hospice for all the tender care they gave to Angie.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS stake center on Thursday July 23th at 11:00 am. with a viewing 1 hour prior at 10:00 am. 970 North 400 East Mapleton Utah 84664. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville Utah.
