Angela Maria Neal, age 52, passed away on October 23, 2025 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah of Congestive Heart Failure. She was surrounded by her son, mother and siblings at the time of her passing.
Angie was born in Portland, Oregon on May 8, 1973, and raised in Washington State. She attended Warden High School where she played Volleyball. She then graduated from Wahluke High School in 1992.
As the fourth of ten children growing up in a large, close-knit family taught her early on the value of laughter, love, and connection — qualities that she carried with her throughout her life.
Her two children, Christopher (22) and Cierra (19), who were the light of her life. Everything Angie did was for her children, and she was endlessly proud of the people they’ve become.
Angie had a gift for making friends wherever she went. Her kind heart, easy smile, and wonderful sense of humor made everyone feel welcome. Even in her final days, she continued to share her jokes and warmth with those around her.
Angie worked in a variety of jobs and excelled in positions where she worked with the public. Her greatest joy came from working in daycares, where her love for children truly shone. She had a natural way with kids — patient, funny, and full of heart.
Her friendly personality brought many friends into her life. She appreciated their messages and visits during her illness.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Max Barnum, her nephew, Cooper Reed Barnum and her father, C. Max Barnum.
She is survived by her beloved children, Christopher Phelps and Cierra Phelps, her mother, Connie Barnum, and 8 siblings, Kimberley (Larry Au), Troy (Norma), Jason (Diana), Sarina (Cliff Yerkes), Shawn (Camille), Justin (Andrea), Marnae, Brittany (Blake), 36 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st, at 1:00 PM at 789 Arrowhead Trail, Payson, Utah, to celebrate Angie's life and the love she shared so freely.
Angie's legacy is one of kindness, humor, and an unshakable love for friends and family. She made the world a little brighter — one smile, one laugh, one act of love at a time.
