Pauline Edgley
To Anna's dear family: I'm so sorry to hear of her passing! The tributes to Anna are so wonderful to read, and I know she was very special and loved by all. Anna was my closest girl cousin to my age. Our paths didn't cross very often, but I always knew OF her, and her family, and considered her a special cousin all these years. My outstanding memory of her was when she was 14 and I was 7, and she came from Manassa to live with us in Salt Lake and go to school that year. However, things didn't work out (school regulations?) and she returned home. But what I remember is, She and my sister Darlene and I took the bus downtown to go see the movie, "Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein." It was supposed to be a comedy, but we thought it was really scary, with Frankenstein and the Wolfman and all, going around and terrifying everyone, especially me! Then, we three children had to ride home on the bus, alone, in the dark. I was scared of the dark for many years after that! I'm so glad to have seen her a couple of times "recently" at our "cousins lunches" with Carolyn, Bill, and Peggy and Darlene. What a sweet and "down home" person! We send our love and condolences to Anna's family. So sad we can't gather for a funeral right now! With love, Pauline Edgley
