Anna Lillian Nixon's Obituary
Anna Lillian Nixon of Benjamin, Utah passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on April 26 at 11:11 p.m. She was 73 years old.
Anna was born in Thistle, Utah on October 8, 1942 to Walter and Anna Ridgley. She is the wife of James Edward Nixon and they shared 47 wonderful years together. Anna worked as a seamstress, and as a school lunch lady for West Ridge Elementary School. She enjoyed camping, riding horses, and spending time inThistle. She was a member of the LDS church, and served as a Cub Scout leader, primary teacher, relief society teacher and nursery worker. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, service to others and love of the outdoors. Anna is survived by her husband James Nixon, daughter Debbie Walker (Mike Marriott) of Zephryhills, Florida, daughter Sabrina Starks (Brent Starks), of Gunnison, Utah, son Jared Nixon of Spanish Fork, Utah, daughter Jerusha Stubbs of Benjamin, Utah, son Thomas Nixon of Benjamin, Utah, 25 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, stepsons Daniel Nixon, Mike Nixon, Paul Nixon, and stepdaughter Yvonne Simpson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bob Ridgley, and her sister Shirley Jacobson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 4th at 2:00 p.m., viewing starting at 12:00 p.m. at the Benjamin Utah 2nd Ward chapel located at 3238 west 7300 south Benjamin, Utah.
