Anna Catheran Yerkes' Obituary
Anna Catheran Yerkes, age 91, passed away in Sandy, Utah on November 28, 2020. She was born in July 1929 in Warren, Ohio to Beatrice and Dwight Thompson. She married Leicester A. Yerkes in San Antonio, TX on March 8, 1952. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1995.
Annie's passion was her love of quilting. Her sewing room was her happy place, and her next project was her adventure.
She served in the US Army, Rank of Sargent Draftsman in Fort Sam Houston Texas.
Annie's children are Leicester A. Yerkes Jr, Steven Yerkes, Raymond Yerkes (deceased), and Susan Y. Orr.
She is also survived by her brother Donald (age 98), 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Annie will be laid to rest by her husband's side.
No service is planned per the wishes of Annie.
