Anthony "Tony" Beddoes' Obituary
TONY “ANTHONY” BEDDOES
Tony left us unexpectedly on December 29, 2022 at the very young age of 50. Tony leaves behind many heartbroken loved ones, his wife, Roxanne, step-son Dexter, daughter Audrey, grandson Raiden, sister Michelle (Steve), his pugs, Kasee and Mila, and so many other beloved family and friends.
If you knew Tony, you knew his love of music which began as soon as he could hear. He loved the band Ghost and was ready for their next tour to come into town. Tony grew up in a close knit music loving family and as a result went on many a road trip for festivals and concerts. He traveled frequently with cousins, William, Brent, Bob and Lou to see bands perform all over the U.S. and let me tell you, those trips definitely resulted in some major hellraising. I seriously doubt that there are many who haven’t seen Tony’s butt as he was quite fond of baring it for all to see frequently.
Tony waited a long time to find “the one”, Roxanne. She is the one true love of his life and truly the best thing that ever happened to him. They were together many years and tied the knot just this year. With Roxanne came step-son Dexter whom Tony loved and tried to be the best step-dad possible. Tony often played Ghost, loud and proud, on his new Cerwin Vega speakers and Dexter became a quick and fast fan too; it was something they shared.
To say that Tony was a proud papa when daughter Audrey was born is really a true understatement. He was madly in love with her before she took her first breath. He was so proud of her and watched in awe at her many accomplishments. Tony and Audrey were so similar, which of course often led to a butting of heads but the love and adoration always remained consistent.
Audrey gave Tony a grandson, Raiden whom he loved and adored. Raiden looks just like his papa Tony when he was young, the resemblance is uncanny. Papa Tony loved going to hockey games with him and I know that Tony would have shared his love of concerts and music with Raiden and definitely would have taught him to bang his head with the best of them.
Michelle and Tony were exceptionally close. She always took care of him and would often be called upon to beat up a bully or other kid brave enough to mess with her little brother while growing up. She supported him through thick and thin, good times and bad and stood by him in his marine corps endeavors and the madness that was kidney failure. They lost both parents and many other close family members and leaned heavily upon one another to stay strong and make it through. They depended on each other to be rock solid when the other was less so in order to fight another day.
Tony was lovingly greeted by his mother Katie, father Bill (whom he scheduled to kick in the balls upon seeing again), his beloved pugs Susie and Milo and so many other cherished family and friends.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Premier Funeral located at 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, Utah 84047. To honor the rock and roll, music loving legend that was Tony, we suggest wearing your favorite band tee.
