Antonio Cuevas Jr's Obituary
With great sadness we share the news that Antonio Cuevas Jr passed away on September 25, 2020. At the far too young age of 34, Tony suffered kidney failure that ended his physical life far too soon, but his presence will remain with us always.
He was born in Cuidad Hidalgo Michoacán Mexico to Antonio Cuevas Sr and Maria Cuevas. They immigrated to America when Tony was a baby and eventually made Utah their home. Tony had a tender heart for his mother, loved to spend time with her while she cooked for him and talk about anything.
Tony had a big personality and left a trail of friends everywhere he went. He was a great storyteller and could spin a tail full of fun, surprises and imagination. Tony was the funnest kid in the neighborhood with great energy and imagination, creating amazing childhood memories for his siblings. He was always able to get into character and create a pretend world that all the kids wanted to be part of.
Tony loved getting together with friends for fishing, football and food, a good football game or a day of fishing was a great weekend. Tony married Allexis 5 years ago in a fun Egyptian themed wedding in Vegas, kicking off an adventure and partnership that helped him endure the hardships of his illness.
Tony’s fun and full of life presence will be missed but the stories and memories will stay with us forever.
He is survived by his Wife, Allexis and fur babies: Koda (dog), Sarah & Isis (cats), parents Antonio & Maria Cuevas, sisters: Veronica Reynolds (Devin, Raphael), Yesenia (Lucy, Yazmin), Milagros.
We will be celebrating Tony’s life on Friday, Oct. 2nd:
