Antonio De Jesus Lopez Varela's Obituary
Antonio De Jesus Lopez Varela, nuestro querido chef Tony de 56 años de edad residente de la ciudad de Spanish Fork Utah, lastimosamente falleció el dia 22 de Octubre de 2020 de complicaciones del COVID en la ciudad de Provo Utah.
Antonio nació en la ciudad de La Ceiba Atlantida, Honduras un 1ro de Agosto de 1964 y fué precedido en muerte por su mamá Blanca, su papá Marcial y su querido hermano gemelo Angel. Le sobreviven sus hijos Samuel y Saúl, hermanos Marlene Yojany, Rigoberto, Efren y Maribel Lopez Varela.
Antonio fué un padre abnegado y muy dedicado a sus hijos Sam y Saul, ellos eran su todo, su razón de ser.
Un hombre muy generoso y dadór con su familia y amigos, Antonio siempre veía formas en como ayudarlos cuando los veia en momentos de necesidad, de debilidad, de dolor. Si tenía que comprar un voleto de avión, bus, taxi etc para ayudar a alguien para que pueda llegar a su destino, el no dudaba ni un segundo y simplemente lo hacia, si tenia que comprar comida o ropa etc, simplemente lo hacia, ese era el tipo de ser humano que era Tony.
Una de sus pasiones era la cocina, le encantaba cocinar para sus hijos, sus amigos, sus jefes y sus clientes. Sus famosas baleadas, pastelitos de carne o pollo era una de sus delicias que todos nosotros degustamos, sus pollos al horno, su famoso caldo o sazón “ajú” era una de las particularidades de su menu y por lo cual lo hacian único, nuestro querido chef Tony.
Otra de sus pasiones era el canto, fué miembro de muchos coros de barrios que el asistió de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de Los Santos de Los Ultimos Dias y también de el coro del evento de La Luz De Las Naciones que se realizan cada año en en Centro de Conferencias en Salt Lake City. Por consiguiente a Antonio le encantaba mucho el karaoke, en sus anos de su juventud fue un cantante proligio y ganó premios en festivales de canto.
Todos nosotros vamos a extrañar a nuestro querido Antonio, Toño, Tonín, Chef Tony, un hombre muy especial con cada uno de nosotros que tuvimos la bendición de compartir sus chistes, sus tristezas, sus logros, sus aventuras, fiel hombre de Dios, con El cual Antonio ahora mora.
El velorio será a las 12:00pm y la celebración de su vida a la 1:00pm en la capilla localizada en la 2162 E Canyon Rd., Spanish Fork UT 84660, están todos cordialmente invitados.
Para siempre Dios este con voz Antonio y hasta que nos veamos nuevamente con El Rey, te vamos a extrañar.

Antonio De Jesus Lopez Varela, our dear 56-year-old chef Tony, resident of the city of Spanish Fork Utah, unfortunately passed away on October 22, 2020 from complications of COVID19 in the city of Provo Utah.
Antonio was born in the city of La Ceiba Atlantida, Honduras on August 1, 1964 and was preceded in death by his mother Blanca, his father Marcial and his beloved twin brother Angel. He is survived by his children Samuel and Saúl, brothers Marlene Yojany, Rigoberto, Efren and Maribel Lopez Varela.
Antonio was a devoted father and very dedicated to his sons Sam and Saul, they were his everything, his reason for being.
A very generous man with his family and friends, Antonio always saw ways to help them when he saw them in times of need, of weakness, of pain. If he had to buy a plane, bus, taxi ticket or etc to help someone get to his/her destination, he did not hesitate for a second and he just did it, if he had to buy food or clothes etc, he just did it, that he was the kind of human being Tony was.
One of his passions was cooking, he loved cooking for his children, his friends, his bosses and his clients. His famous baleadas or pastelitos de carne were one of his delicacies that all of us tasted, his pollo al horno with his famous broth or seasoning "ajú" was one of the peculiarities of his menu and for which it made him unique, our dear chef Tony.
Another of his passions was singing, he was a member of many church choirs where he attended from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also was a member of the choir of the La Luz De Las Naciones event that takes place every year in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Therefore Antonio was very fond of karaoke, in his early years he was a prolific singer and won awards at singing festivals.
All of us are going to miss our dear Antonio, Toño, Tonín, Chef Tony, a very special man with each one of us who were blessed to hear his jokes, his sadness, his achievements, his adventures, faithful man of God, with whom now Antonio dwells.
Viewing will be at 12:00pm and the celebration of his life at 1:00 pm in the chapel located at 2162 E Canyon Rd., Spanish Fork UT 84660, all are cordially invited.
