Aretta "Lorene" Walker Mecham Trafny
April 11, 1959 - May 17, 2021
Aretta "Lorene" Walker Mecham Trafny passed away from a heart attack on May 17th 2021. She leaves behind her daughter Leah King her son Blake Mecham, five grandchildren Coral, Tristan, Anthony, Shyann and Lola. Her mom Aretta Cothran, Four Brothers Rick Dean, Terry, and Ed, as well as aunt's uncle's nieces and nephews. Lorene was funny, feisty, and very passionate about the people and things she cared about. She enjoyed her garden she was an awesome cook! She had a big heart and loved animals. Her favorite companions were her two African Gray Parrots, JoJo and Nika. I'm sure they are wondering where their person has gone. She lived her life to the fullest and on her own terms. She was preceded in death by her two boys, Mike and Levi. The pain and trauma of the loss of her boys was a pain that never left her. While we are all sad for us because she is gone from us, we are trying to rejoice in the fact that she is finally back with her boys. What a happy and joyous reunion that must have been! She will be cremated at her request. We are planning a small Celebration of Life for her family and close friends at a later date. It's hard to imagine the world without her in it but we are trying to take comfort in the fact that her and her boys are together again. She will be missed by many. We love you and we will see you and the boys when it's our time.
