Arlee "Bump" Austin Sullivan Jr.'s Obituary
Arlee Austin Sullivan Jr. December 2, 1966 - December 25, 2021 Bump was Born December 2 1966 in Salt Lake City Utah to Arlee and Marva Sullivan. He grew up in Kearns Utah. He passed away at home in bed with his loved ones near.
There is nothing that made Bump happier than his family and friends. He especially loved being a grandfather. He shared his life with his love, Teresa Smith. Together they have Austin, Katie, and Kolby. Being a father is something he was very passionate about. Anytime his children needed anything he dropped what he was doing and was always on his way.
He is a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend to everyone and didn't think twice before lending a helping hand. Bump made friends everywhere he went and he made everyone feel special.
Bump loved the outdoors. Ever since he was a little boy all he wanted to do was go fishing. If anyone mentioned fishing he was already out the door with his pole in hand. He spent his summers fishing and playing in the lakes with his family. He spent his autumn hunting with his lifelong friends. He spent his winters driving his wife and daughter around in the snow and he spent his springs riding his bike and getting back out in the water. "If someone should ask for me, tell ‘em heaven is where I’ll be. I’ve finished all my life chores and now I fish on heaven’s shores. The view is grand and the fishing is great but I yearn for you as I wait. I’ll save a spot on the rivers bend for all those I call family and friend but for now head to the sea and make a cast in my memory to the good times that you had with me, your friend, your grandpa, your dad. And if the fish no longer bite or seem no longer worth the fight 'Cause its me that you are missin’ don't worry be happy. i’ve gone fishin’"
Preceded in death by his father and daughter. Survived by his mother, his wife, 4 children, 8 grandchildren and two sisters.
Thank you to everyone who shared their hearts and life with Bump and his family. We appreciate all of the kindness and support we have been shown during this tough time.
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it. Bump has gone fishin’.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4th, 2:00 pm at Premier Funeral Services, 67 E. 8000 So. Midvale, Utah, with a viewing one hour prior to services.
