My mom, Frances Bickerstaff, loved Arlene. Frances lived in the condos and she and Arlene would call and talk after my mom moved to Cache Valley. My mom passed way at 96 this last January. I guess there is a great big reunion going on! Much love to your family.
My mom, Gwendolyn Fife Bushman, was best friends with Arlene in Gridley growing up. They served as mission companions in the Central States mission and both married elders from their mission. When Linda Fife and I were 20, coming home from a year in Europe, Mom suggested we stop and see Arlene and Dennis in Washington DC. They took time to show us the sights. We were treated as members of their family and we felt like we were home.
I loved Arlene. Even though I was not able to see her very often, she always knew who I was and we had a lot to talk about. I spent some time visiting with them with my parents and always felt so welcomed and special to be in their home. She definitely was a classy lady and so fun to be with. She will be missed but Dennis has waited long enough for her. My sympathies to the family. Marjean Dial Lyon

Grandma was an amazing and tough lady. She helped babysit her grandchildren, was always willing to play cards or talk, and she gave great advice. Her popcorn, orange rolls, and chicken noodle soup were always incredible. She is with her husband, where she wanted to be. I love her and will miss her greatly.
My name is Jean Sperry Campbell and I used to babysit you children for your mom and dad when your parents s lived on corner of 1700 and Blaine ave. I loved all of you and enjoyed the time I spent in your home. Your mom and dad taught me the importance of temple attendance because I would tend on temple nights every month. There was always a warm meal for all of us and house was organized. Your mom always treated me so wonderful and made me feel loved and appreciated. Your mom was a beautiful g influence in my life.
