Arlene Lois Miller's Obituary
Arlene Lois Miller 86, passed away August 15, 2025. She was born November 4,1938, in Nickerson, Nebraska to Elmer Soderling and Favorale Crocker Soderling. She had one younger brother, Robert Soderling. When she was a very young girl they moved to Boise, Idaho, where she lived for most of the rest of her life.
Arlene played the French horn in high school and was a proud member of the Scarlet Skirts choir. She was also a member of Sweet Adelines. She was also an amazing seamstress and designer. She could look at clothing in the store and design the pattern and make whatever she wanted to. She also loved gardening and was proud of her garden every year.
Arlene has 6 children: Mike Ellis of Nampa, ID; Phyllis Rodriguez, (Ron Rodriguez) of Layton, UT; Keith Ellis, (Georgia Ellis), of Meridian, ID; Konni Guyer, (Kenny Guyer) of Grangeville, ID; Judy Thomas (Paul Thomas) of Mobile AL, and Lois Patterson, (Kelvin Patterson) of Nampa, ID. She has 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
A memorial will be held Saturday September 13,2025 at 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel 8620 Goddard Boise ID 83704.
