Susan Whipple
Dear Potter Family,
I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about your dad's passing. He always seemed to have a spring to his step and a twinkle in his eye; and I have pleasant memories of his walking hand-in-hand with your mother around the ward. My son and I had planned to attend the funeral. However, Saturday morning we woke up to another five inches of snow and it was still snowing. Our street was snow-packed. So I felt it was probably not a good idea to try driving in those conditions. So I am sorry about that. I also wanted to send you a card to express my thoughts to you, but I can't find your parents' address in Provo. I hope yet to send something in the mail. I would very much like a copy of your dad's biography, "Bits of Clay." I will formally submit a request on your family website.
May your family be blessed at this time with comfort and peace. Arlin and Dorothy were a perfectly matched pair, and I am sure there is a wonderful reunion in heaven for them and your sisters that passed on. May the Lord bless you all as your go forward in this life. Thanks for everything.
Love,
Susan and Terry Whipple (hometeacher) Brian Whipple (also a hometeacher to them)
