Ashley Brooke Matheson's Obituary
Layton- Ashley Brooke Matheson, Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend returned to her loving Heavenly Father’s open arms on October 14, 2012. Ashley was surrounded by her loving family during her last days and will be missed so very much. Ashley was born in Ogden Utah to Darrin Matheson and C. Michelle Wright. She was raised by her Father and Step Mother Kimberley Matheson. Ashley graduated from Northridge High School and Fran Brown College of Beauty in 2003. She attended Dixie University in St. George, Utah. Ashley began her career as a Hair Dresser in 2003. She was most recently employed at Smart Cuts Salon in Syracuse, Utah. She had a large clientele- all of whom will be lost without her. Those who really knew Ashley knew that she was full of life with a bubbly personality and a loving heart. She wanted to please everyone she knew. Ashley loved her family more that anything and carried pictures of all her brothers and sisters with her every where she went. Ashley loved music, make up, long baths, watching movies and sleeping with her T.V. on. Ashley had a beautiful daughter- Saige Brooke Criddle, and she loved her more than words could say. Ashley will be so happy to be able to watch over her as she grows. Ashley is survived by her parents and daughter, four siblings- Amanda Nelson Garvin (Joseph), Evan Nelson (Mary), Rindye Sant, and Preston Matheson, Grand parents- John and Myrna Matheson, Charles J Wright, David and Susan Franks, and George and Paula Ward, Great Grandmother Ella Hoskins, Step Father Keith Sant, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Ashley was preceded in death by her Grandmother Connie Wright, and her little brother Alexander Darrin Matheson. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 18th, from 11:oo A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the West Point 1oth Ward chapel 2852 W 300 North in West Point, UT. There will be a viewing before the services from 9:00 to 10:45. Interment in the Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ashley Matheson memorial fund at any Wells Fargo Bank to help with funeral costs. We love you Ashley and look forward to the happy day when we are together again!
