Austin, I wanted to thank you for the impact you had on my life. Although we didn't spend a lot of time together, you showed me a sense of adventure with a little spontaneity that can take us to amazing heights. I am forever grateful for the chance I had to meet you and your love of life. You empowered others to realize what was truly important and not sweat the small stuff. Austin brought so much life with him. He felt everything so deeply and cared for people with his whole heart. His struggles contrasted with his rich and vast experience to create the beautifully complex life he lived. He was joyful and compassionate and welcoming to me. I have always been and always will be grateful for the time I spent with Austin.
My deepest condolences to his wife, children, and family.
Austin, thanks for bringing me to life. Thanks for scheming at midnight and jumping out of a plane with me. Thanks for the hikes, the laughs and the performances that we shared.

Austin was a beautiful human. His true friendship meant the world to me and it made a difference in my life. He gave me hope and I enjoyed seeing the excitement he carried with him about magical things. Thankful for the times we encouraged one another and to have a fellow believer to talk about Jesus with. I remember playing in the park and he would have his slack line set up. My favorite trick he did was balancing walking across it backwards with his eyes closed, singing and playing guitar. I loved listening to Austin and talking with him about creative ideas and concepts in and out of this world. My deepest sympathies go out to his family during this times of immense loss.
