Barbara Elliott Barlow's Obituary
It is with a combination of sadness and joy that we announce the passing of Barbara Elliott Barlow. Sadness for us who are here and will miss her, joy for the beautiful reunion she is getting to experience on the other side of the veil.
Barbara peacefully passed away at Provo Rehab Center in the late evening of Friday January 2nd, 2026, at the age of 87.
Barbara was born in Kernersville, North Carolina on June 10, 1938 to her father Fred Oliver Elliott and to her mother Ocie Myrtle Everhart. She was the eldest of three children, with two younger brothers, Fred Douglas Elliott and Paul Edward Elliott. She graduated from Kernersville High School and later attended college at Mars Hill where she received her associates degree.
Barbara met and later married her husband James Nolan Barlow on September 5th, 1959. The couple had two children, Scott and Valerie. Jim passed away in 1995 leaving Barbara a widow for 31 years.
Barbara worked at Pepsi for many years, which she loved, at times bringing her grandchildren with her to work.
Barbara is now reunited with her parents Fred Oliver Elliott and Ocie Myrtle Everhart, her two younger brothers Fred and Paul, her husband Jim, and many other relatives and friends who love her dearly.
Barbara is survived by her 2 children, Scott (Yasmin) and Valerie (Blake); her 7 grandchildren, Damien (Zoey), David (Adria), Julia (Brad), Jared, Ayla (Michael), Joshua, and Sophie; and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held this Saturday January 10th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the LDS chapel building 4561 North Buckboard Street, Eagle Mountain, Ut .
