I grew up with the Visser’s as a child and have many happy memories of them all. I am very sad to hear that Barbara passed away suddenly. I hope that you all will find peace and strength in any belief in God’s goodness, and also from family and friends.

I’m going to miss you my friend! Even though we didn’t see each other often, you were always one of my best friends and always in my thoughts. We had some great memories over the years.
I met Barbara in 1970, she was with my best friend Teresa(Tina) Carroll. We called Barbara Dutchie. I lost contact with Tina and Dutchie in 1971. I last saw both of them in Jemez Springs New Mexico. We hitch hiked from Denver Colorado to the mountains in N.M. for an adventure of our lives, living in the top of a mountain for 4 months. After about 38 years I was contacted through social media by Tina Carroll, then through her also reconnect with Dutchie in 2020. I was so happy to talk to her after all these years. Last year our best friend Tina passed away from cancer and we both were in shock and talked on the phone about our friend. Dutchie and I stayed in touch through Facebook mostly after that. I am so shocked and sad that now she has gone on to be in heaven too. My sincere condolences to her family and close friends, may our heavenly Father give you some peace and comfort in the days and months ahead
