I will only ever have fond and wonderful memories of my Tia Barbara. My condolences to all her loved ones, but especially to her sons Andrew, John David, and Spencer.
I would like to extend my condolences to Barbara Jo Garrett Guzman's family. I never met Barbara; however, I am friends with her son, John.
Praying for the comfort of John and the entire family of Barbara. Her life of servitude for the sick is admirable and I can see where John gets his empathy and welcoming personality.
Respectfully,
Michael L.
I was so sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. I was blessed to grow up in the same Ward as Barbara Garrett. She was a bit older than us, but she didn't mind if we tagged along with her, and we wanted to - because she was so much fun to be around! I have wonderful memories of her laugh and the love that she showed to me. I will be forever grateful for having known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Wishing you comfort and peace at this difficult time.

We extend our sympathy. May fond memories bring comfort and peace at this time of sadness. She was such a good example of service.

I agree with Linda. There was always laughter with Barbara. Yesterday, I found a quote from Brigham Young which I think describes what "Bobbie Jo" is experiencing right now:
"We have more friends behind the veil than on this side, and they will hail us more joyfully than you were ever welcomed by your parents and friends in this world, and you will rejoice more when you meet them than you ever rejoiced to see a friend in this life."
I will miss interacting with Barbara but I no doubt will see her again. I love her so much.

I am saddened by the unexpected passing of Barbara. We were roommates at Ricks College and sang in an award winning quartet with her and other roommates. Our roommates have formed a lifelong bond. We all enjoyed a trip together as we visited New York City only a few years ago. She always had a way to make us laugh.
She had a lifelong desire to learn. She even wanted to learn how to help me milk cows.
The world has lost a precious soul but I'm sure she is making the next life brighter for all. Hey kid, I'll see you later.
Love to all your family left behind.

I will always remember Barbara laugh. We would talk and giggle in church, or during road shows until we would be scolded by someone! Oh what fun! Sitting and watching the “older boys” was always a treat. Thank you for your friendship. I’m sure you laughed your way into heaven as you did into our hearts. Love you. Linda Harris Bott
I loved all the pictures of Barbara as she showed the to me sitting together on a couch in Centerville Utah
