Barbara Josephine Johnston's Obituary
Barbara Josephine Bouck Johnston, 73, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2014 surrounded by family. She was born on October 11, 1940 to Curtis Wainwright Bouck and Josephine Dalton Bouck.
Barbara married Harry Gordon Johnston on June 25, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised 4 children, Kelly Phillip Johnston, Gordon Kip (Kris) Johnston, Kirt Bouck (Crystal) Johnston, and Kimberlynne Johnston Carter. She was the proud grandma of 7 Grandchildren (Amber, Ashlee, Cheyanne, Garrett, Korey, Nathan, and Wyatt) and 7 Great-Grandchildren (Drelynn, Deavon, Kamari, Kadrian, TeNea, Tesslynn, ZiNnia).
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Wainwright Bouck and Josephine Dalton Bouck, Sister-in-crime, Shaunna Bouck (Charles) Murie, Brother, Brad Bouck and Son, Kelly Phillip Johnston.
Without a doubt, mom was the most amazing mother on earth. She was a caring, kind-hearted, loving, patient woman that would have done anything for anyone. She loved unconditionally. She loved spending time with her family either at Bear Lake or at home, sewing, antique digging (whatever she could find) in ghost towns or in anyone’s attic. Mom, words cannot express the void we feel in our hearts. You will be greatly missed. We Love You!
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 5th from 6-8pm and Saturday, September 6th from 10-11am at the Riverside Stake Center (1148 West 500 North, Salt Lake City).
Graveside Services will be held at noon Saturday, September 6th at the Bountiful City Cemetery (2224 South 200 West).
