Barbara Thompson's Obituary
Barbara Thompson returned to the arms of our loving Savior and Heavenly Father, July 30, 2020 following complications from a stroke. She was born March 20, 1952. She married the love of her life Steven Thompson on September 14, 1976. They were sealed a year later for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on her beloved Grandparents anniversary. She is the proud mother of 3 daughters and her grandchildren are her world. She loved throwing parties, traditional Jammies at Nannies, her attention to detail was impeccable. She loved cruising the world on a ship or as the co-captain in the passenger seat with her "T". She was always up for a good time including Maroon 5 concerts and being the first in line for the 23rd showing of Mama Mia. She was selfless and passionate about her family, serving them daily. She was the hardest worker we know. She enjoyed watching the kids play their sports, excel in academics and giving them nicknames that they will never forget. She is their biggest fan. She is kind and supportive, a loyal friend to many.
She is survived by her loving husband, daughters Heather (Scott) Reeves, Jaymilynne, and Stephanie (Jared) Harbaugh. She was the Nana to 15 grandchildren who love her dearly. She is also survived by her siblings, Pam (Grant) Allen, Steven (Susan) Russell and Cyndee (Larry) Hansen, Brian Thompson, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Russell and her beloved Grandparents Stanley and Ida VomBaur.
Wifey, Mom and Nana we will miss you fiercely. Until we meet again, all our love.
