Barry Lynn Grow's Obituary
Barry Lynn Grow, 64 of Orem, passed away December 1, 2021. He was born November 28, 1957 in Oakland, California to Sterl Victor Grow and Oral Alexander Grow. He was the youngest brother of seven: Steven Grow, Von Grow, Roger Rayhbuck, Norman Grow, Revae Nelson, and Cecelia White.
Barry was able to participate in an award winning jazz band where he played the saxophone and toured Europe. He graduated from Arroyo High School in 1975. He served an LDS mission in Billings Montana and diligently served in the church throughout his life. He was known by all who knew him as a master mechanic, willing to help anyone with his talent.
He met the love of his life in 1980 and they married that same year, fully aware that they would be eternal companions from the day they met. Together they had five children: Audra RoseElla Rasmussen, Candice Lynnee Grow, Savanna Grow McGill, Forrest Colton Grow, and Desiree Grow. He was a grandfather to seven grandchildren: Everett Grey Rasmussen, Hunter Vance Rasmussen, Isla June Rasmussen, Patrick Hunter McGill, Nolan Ryan McGill, Dahlia O Grow, and Briar Rose Jean Grow.
The family would like to thank all those who have supported, loved, and prayed for Barry and his family.
The Funeral and Viewing will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021. The Viewing will be at 10:00am and The Funeral will be at 11:00am at the LDS church Building, 1540 N. 1100 W., Orem Utah.
